August 6, 2019
With Bernadette Sarlo, Associate Director of Placement, New Jersey SEEDS; Andy Hoge, Director of Admissions & Placement, New Jersey SEEDS & Robert L. Mitchell II, Director of Admissions, Morristown-Beard School (NJ) Discuss how to navigate a family through the financial aid process from the initial financial aid application throughout the student’s time at the school. Representatives from two New Jersey SEEDS partner schools will discuss how they are able to create inclusive environments for students from a range SES backgrounds. The panelists and participants will discuss how to collaborate effectively with families regarding financial aid contracts, as well as the appeal and re-enrollment processes. We will borrow from the Federal government’s recent push on college financial aid offices to create a “user-friendly” form when disclosing their financial agreements.
