Successfully Meeting Enrollment and Retention Challenges

With John Littleford, Consultant, Littleford & Associates In 2001, a prosperous lower school (K-8) campus of 223 students emerged as a leading choice for families in California. By 2008, enrollment had plummeted to 167 due to rapidly declining demographics, inadequate and outdated facilities, a lack of curricular innovation, a dissatisfied parent community, and little or no engagement of the parent body to tell the school’s story effectively. This perfect storm left the division on the verge of collapse.
