October 25, 2019 Peter Baron and Hans Mundahl

What percent of schools do you think have a formal retention committee? You might be surprised to learn it’s only 25% according to our latest State of the Industry Report. Whether you are a retention guru or just getting started you’ll find this conversation valuable!

In this episode of The Enrollment Spectrum Podcast Heather Avery and David Darby from Lakefield College School in Ontario, Canada discuss their approach to retention. It all begins with leadership from their head of school but we quickly learn that their approach takes a whole-school perspective. From ‘sunshine calls’ in the beginning of the year to their strategy for one-year retention David and Heather take us inside the tactics of their work.

We even discussed a few books that school leaders might find useful!
