Member Minute: Zoom Security Update [April 9]

Welcome to EMA’s Member Minute where I’ll be teaching you an actionable strategy, tip, trick, or hack to help you meet your enrollment goals - all in about a minute.

Zoom is an invaluable tool to connect with your students and families, however they have come under recent scrutiny for security reasons.

This week, you may have seen a new button on your Zoom hosting screen regarding security and your meetings.

As a meeting host, you now have the flexibility to quickly lock your meeting, not allowing anyone else in, enable a waiting room for participants to be approved individually, as well as manage each participant's ability to share screens, rename themselves, and add to the chat.

This will tighten up security in your meetings, giving you and your students, families, and colleagues more comfort in jumping on calls.

That’s been your Member Minute! If you have a question or a comment you can find me in the Member Community!
