Member Minute: Email Campaigns

Welcome to EMA’s Member Minute where I’ll be teaching you an actionable strategy, tip, trick, or hack to help you meet your enrollment goals - all in about a minute.

Filling the top of your enrollment funnel is important but many schools haven’t conducted a direct email campaign before. Maybe you’ve captured prospect emails on your website using gated content or even purchased an opt-in email list… but now what?

There are many tools you can use to create email campaigns like MailChimp and ConstantContact. But the best tool to use might be the one you already have.

Yet Another Mail Merge (or Yamm) is a Google Sheets plugin you can use to easily send nice looking bulk emails including merge fields and templates using a Gmail account. There’s a lot more we could talk about here, like segmentation, calls to action, and lead generation. But those will have to be topics for another time.

Heads up if you are using EMA’s Student Prospect List: not every platform allows the use of opt-in lists. Read the terms of service carefully or reach out to us and we can help you get started!

That’s been your Member Minute! If you have a question or a comment you can find me in the Member Community!
