The Annual Admission Report and Data-Driven Decisions

August 6, 2019
David Baker, Director of Admission & Financial Aid, St. Mark's School of Texas, TX In order to make data-driven decisions, you must first collect and compile the data. This presentation focuses on the value of archiving institutional admission and financial aid data in an annual report in order to inform policy decisions. The presentation includes our early struggles with report content decisions and the lessons we have learned along the way. Finally, we focused on three internal studies conducted by the admission and financial aid office at St. Mark’s School of Texas and how the annual report has enabled those efforts and increased our confidence in decisions related to admission and financial aid policy.
