Member Minute: Erosion of the Base

January 30, 2020

Welcome to EMA’s Member Minute where I’ll be teaching you an actionable strategy, tip, trick, or hack to help you meet your enrollment goals - all in about a minute.

Maybe it’s caused by a demographic shift, more free options, or the long tail effect of tuition outpacing family income, but the end result is the same: there are fewer students entering the applicant pool and that’s forcing us to shift our enrollment strategies.

Sure - you could chase new families but you also need to focus on retention and your base. Maybe you’re working on strategies such as

  • Reducing the barriers to entry
  • Using partnerships to increase agility
  • Positioning yourself uniquely in the market
  • Considering doing less while doing it better

If you want to dive deep into these topics including actionable strategies and case studies check out the latest issue of The Yield in your mail box or at community.enrollment.org.
